When I first added an interactive AI chatbot to my website, I wanted it to reflect me—my voice, my tone, and the kind of helpful advice I give to small businesses. But I didn’t expect was that my AI chatbot speaks in may languages
But here’s something else I didn’t expect:
My avatar doesn’t just sound like me in English – it sounds like me in French, Japanese, and other languages too. And not badly either. The lip sync is amazing.
In this short video, I ask my chatbot the same marketing question in both French and Japanese. Here’s the result:
I hope that my schoolboy French is understandable and that my Japanese script didn’t offend anyone! What is incredible is the chatbot responds clearly and naturally. The voice still sounds like me, and the lip sync is spot on. I use HeyGen and ElevenLabs to power the avatar, and ChatGPT to provide the answers.
This isn’t just a party trick. It’s a genuinely useful feature if you work with multilingual customers or want to offer content and support beyond your local audience.
